<p>Title of Position:</p> <p>Custodian Houseworker - Day Shift</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Marlborough High School</p> <p>Work Year:</p> <p>2025-2026</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>School Year Hours: Monday - Friday 5:30am-2:00pm</p> <p>Summer Hours: (M-F 6:30 AM-3:00 PM)</p> <p>Occasional weekend hours in the summer</p> <p>Effective Date of Employment:</p> <p>As soon as possible - this is a year-round position</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>According to the Custodial Salary Scale</p> <p>FY26 Starting Salary: $48,697.00 and an increase after 6 consecutive months of service.</p> <p>Performance Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Building Custodian is generally responsible for the achievement of the purposes of custodian services in the building, i.e., preserve property values, protect health and safety of occupants; support the educational objectives of the building and provide a climate of learning, develop goodwill and maintain cleanliness and neatness.</p> <ul> <li>Open High School building at 5:30 am and prepare for classes, lights, doors, cafeteria, etc. </li><li>Cafeteria duties, keep up general cleanliness, clean up breakfast, lunch and snacks. </li><li>Deliver paper, and packages to offices, classrooms, and offices as needed. </li><li>Clean physical education 1st floor restrooms, and any other locations needed. </li><li>Grounds upkeep including trash pickup, emptying trash barrels, sweeping or blowing off debris from sidewalks and entrances and snow removal. </li><li>General maintenance and repair. </li><li>Fill in as Head Custodian at all schools as needed. </li><li>You may be required to work at more than one building in a day. </li><li>When you travel you will be required to use your own personal transportation.
