<p>Duties</p> <p>The Principal is responsible for the general operations of Freeburg Elementary School, including:</p> <ul> <li>Leadership: Building collaborative relationships with staff, students, and the community. </li><li>Student Support: Maintaining discipline through proactive measures and fostering a safe, caring learning environment. </li><li>Instructional Oversight: Supporting teacher growth and student achievement through data analysis, informal and formal observations, and systematic initiatives (MTSS, RTI, and SEL). </li><li>Management: Supervising personnel, curriculum, district-aligned school goals, and extracurricular activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a General Administrative or Principal endorsement. </li><li>Education: Master's degree in Education (including required coursework in Education). </li><li>Experience: 4-5 years of teaching and/or administrative experience is preferred. </li><li>Skills: Strong knowledge of elementary-level management and instructional best practices. </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $80,000-$96,000 based on experience </li><li>Benefits: District paid single health and dental insurance. Board paid TRS.
