<p>Primary Function</p> <p>Responsible for performing a variety of support services for Diagnostic department.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist modality staff in preparing room for patient exams, to include stocking and cleaning of area. </li><li>Contacts appropriate medical facilities, nursing units and other healthcare providers to obtain pertinent patient information/prior exam reports required for testing of patients. </li><li>Distributes reports to physician offices and other healthcare providers as requested </li><li>Transports patients to maintain workflow and patient throughput when necessary. </li><li>Assists patients to dressing areas if necessary. </li><li>Assists with moving patients from stretcher to scanners/patient movement </li><li>Coordinates paperwork/reports on patients throughout the department and to Radiologists. </li><li>Delivers oral contrast to other areas of the hospital for patient prep prior to testing. </li><li>Performs all other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications and Specifications</p> <p>A High School diploma required.
