<p>Hiring Department</p> <p>SUCCEED Program</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Leads a program or section within the student support system. Provides technical and clerical services to students including: reviewing, analyzing, evaluating and processing data to determine students' academic credit, admissibility, eligibility for degrees, scholarships and/or specialized designations. May provide counseling in student admissions and financial aid counseling and/or career planning and placement services for students.</p> <ul> <li>Understands how the team integrates with others to accomplish team objectives </li><li>Reviews, analyzes, and processes information as directed </li><li>Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on practice and existing precedents or procedures </li><li>Impacts the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of the team </li><li>Explains detailed information/ regularly interacts with both internal and external parties </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate the facilitation of student independent living goals. </li><li>Participates in and facilitates person centered planning meetings. </li><li>Present and teach program pillar classes. </li><li>Support the Live Pillar (independent living), track goals, and assess students. </li><li>Participate in program outreach and recruitment. </li><li>Support students by providing holistic and pillar specific coaching </li><li>Collaborate and communicate regularly with campus partners to support the community </li><li>Facilitate program data collection in pillars. </li></ul> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.</p> <p>Shift</p> <p>8am - 5pm; M-F, 40 hours per week</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in the secondary or postsecondary education system. </li><li>Experience in tracking student progress and goals. </li><li>Experience in teaching or facilitating independent living skills such as: </li><li>Financial literacy (budgeting, managing money). </li><li>Time management and organization. </li><li>Personal care and hygiene routines. </li><li>Cooking, cleaning, and other daily life skills. </li></ul> <p>Anticipated Hiring Range</p> <p>Pay commensurate with education and experience.</p> <p>Hiring Range: $17.50 per hour</p> <p>Grade: GGS-007</p> <p>University Title: Student Support Specialist II</p> <p>Application Materials</p> <p>Application materials include a cover letter and resume.
