<p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Serve as the portfolio manager of the Association's high-risk loans, including the following primary responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the portfolio while maintaining compliance with Federal regulations </li><li>Obtains and analyzes sufficient borrower information to service, classify assets, monitor loan compliance, manage litigation, and/or resolve delinquencies that exist in the portfolio </li><li>Negotiate repayment terms with high-risk borrowers </li><li>Negotiates with the Association and borrower legal counsel </li><li>Represents the Association in mediation and other litigation </li><li>Maintains updated service plans and determines negotiation parameters </li><li>Research and recommend portfolio management strategies </li></ul> <p>Critical competencies include:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Organization skills with a preference for detailed work with high accuracy </li><li>Strong negotiating skills </li><li>Strong Credit Skills </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or Ag Economics, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a financial institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. Must be proficient in computer technology and Microsoft applications. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing. The role involves working effectively in teams by building relationships, listening, valuing opinions, and helping the team achieve goals.
