<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Denver - Denver, CO</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Education Level: High School</p> <p>Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly</p> <p>Job Shift: Any</p> <p>Job Category: Real Estate</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Under general supervision, this position provides a visual security presence to ensure that visitors have a safe and pleasant experience while visiting the building.</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the safety of guests, employees and company assets through constant patrol and observation of all assigned areas and reporting activities in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures </li><li>Promote positive and courteous public relations to all tenants, visitors and guests </li><li>Monitors and maintains control of facility access points and permitted areas of entry and responds to sounding alarms ensuring the safety of employees, guest and company assets; monitor visitor activities </li><li>Gain and maintain proficiency with life safety system and central security panel of buildings </li><li>Prepares reports based upon observations, information and occurrences to ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures </li><li>Communicate with supervisor or manager on safety issues </li><li>Tour properties and monitor building operations </li><li>Maintain daily logs and shift reports </li><li>Adhere to Security Policies and Procedures manual </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Experience, Knowledge and Education Required:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) </li><li>Thorough knowledge of all emergency equipment, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, fire pumps, access systems, water risers, cutoff valves and electrical circuits </li><li>Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with customers </li><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently; excellent attention to detail </li><li>Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers </li><li>Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment </li><li>Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction </li><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent required </li><li>2+ years of related experience </li><li>Prior experience in law enforcement, military and/or security preferred </li><li>Non-Commission license preferred, or ability to obtain a valid, Non-Commissioned Security License through the Texas DPS Private Security Board </li><li>Requires acceptance of any assigned shift including weekends </li><li>Requires flexibility to accept assignments at any of our properties in the greater metropolitan area of the city / county in which you are hired </li><li>Requires you provide your own transportation to / from any job site assignment. </li><li>Requires flexibility to work overtime with same day notice, not to exceed 16 hours in a day </li><li>Requires following established procedures for calling in absent and/or requesting time off </li></ul>
