<p>Department</p> <p>Human Resources</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Provides a variety of recruitment and employment related administrative support and general office practices, and effectively represents Sarasota Memorial Hospital in interactions and communications with employees, management staff, applicants, outside vendors, agency personnel, attorneys, and others.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require associate degree in business or related field. Additional relevant work experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the degree. </li></ul> <p>Require minimum of one (1) year of recent related experience. Prefer Human Resources or Employment Office experience in a similar sized organization, preferably in a healthcare setting.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prefer excellent customer skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone. </li><li>Prefer demonstrated knowledge of PC/software applications and word processing skills. </li><li>Prefer the demonstrated ability to work independently, problem solve effectively, and maintain confidentiality. </li><li>Prefer demonstrated ability to satisfactorily manage multiple duties/projects simultaneously. </li><li>Prefer the ability to empathize with the needs of new employees and guide them accordingly. </li></ul>
