<p>Job Title: Medical Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This position is essential during the patient visit. It accompanies the dermatologist in the room and promotes a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Rooming patients and documenting all vital information </li><li>Scribing information for the dermatologist </li><li>Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms </li><li>Scheduling patient appointments </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Medical assisting </li><li>Triage </li><li>Customer service </li><li>Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems </li><li>Organizational and communication skills </li><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant required. </li><li>1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred </li><li>Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45am-5:00pm. Need to be flexible to work as late as 7pm; cannot leave until provider is done.
