This position offers the opportunity to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical literacy in a supportive, student-centered environment. Position Details: Position: Math Teacher (Full-Time) School Year: 25/26 Grade Levels: 9-12 Status: Exempt, salaried position Location: Clayton Valley Charter High School, Concord, CA Responsibilities: -Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in mathematics (e.g., Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, or other levels based on need and experience) -Develop engaging, rigorous lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners -Use data to inform instruction and provide targeted support or enrichment -Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and department meetings -Maintain accurate records of student achievement and communicate progress regularly -Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages academic risk-taking -Participate in school-wide initiatives, professional development, and events Qualifications: -Valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics (or eligibility by start date) -Strong content knowledge and ability to differentiate instruction -Commitment to academic excellence and student growth -Excellent communication and classroom management skills</p> <p>View Job Description</p> <p>Below are the required Credentials for this position.
