<p>Job Title: Salesforce Product Owner, Member & Participant Growth</p> <p>Area: Member & Participant Experience</p> <p>Reports to: Product Manager, Member & Participant Growth</p> <p>Classification: Exempt</p> <p>Location: Evanston, IL</p> <p>This position is designated as Hybrid - Fully Flexible and expected to work from our world headquarters office once per month to several times a week. The specific days in the office are determined by managers based on business requirements. Join us in building a world where everyone can unite, take action, and create lasting change.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Salesforce Product Owner will be primarily responsible for managing the lifecycle of a portfolio of capabilities led by our Salesforce Product Manager. We are looking for a forward thinker able to see the bigger picture of the integrated system (Marketing Cloud, CRM, Experience Cloud, Non-Profit Cloud and Integration). In this role you'll tackle the challenge of juggling multiple solution capabilities and mastering the technical complexities of Rotary's products through both strategic roadmap alignment and hands-on declarative configuration. Your work will have a profound impact, driving participant-focused solutions, leading market innovations, and enhancing product quality.</p> <p>The Salesforce Product Owner reports to a Product Manager aligned to a portfolio of solution capabilities.</p> <p>You Will Have</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or equivalent experience required. </li><li>Hands-on experience with declarative development functions such as Salesforce Flow, Lightning App Builder, and Advanced Configuration (e.g. Validation Rules and Formula Fields) </li><li>Familiarity with Data Loader or similar tools for data management and migration </li><li>Knowledge of Agile Values, Principles, and mindset with at least 3-5 years' experience acting in a Salesforce Business Analyst role, or a similar role. </li><li>Proficiency in Salesforce platform. Salesforce certifications (e.g. Sales Cloud, Nonprofit Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud) preferred. </li><li>Proficiency using Confluence, SharePoint, and JIRA. </li><li>A consumer-centric focus with experience managing user experience components. </li><li>An ability to articulate and clearly communicate and document complex problems and solutions simply and logically. </li><li>Demonstrated track record in effective requirement elicitation and analysis. </li><li>Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein Analytics </li><li>Certified in Scaled Agile - SAFe Product Owner (PO/PM) a plus </li></ul> <p>You Are Good At</p> <ul> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Bringing a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality to Rotary. </li><li>Identifying when a requirement can be met with 'Out of the Box' (OOTB) functionality versus when custom code (Apex/LWC) is required. </li><li>Translating complex business logic into scalable technical architecture within the Salesforce ecosystem. </li><li>Team oriented with proven ability to build consensus across groups with different priorities and lead diverse cross-functional teams. </li><li>Managing more than one product and understanding of their impact across systems. </li><li>Being flexible and adaptable to change. </li></ul> <p>You Will Be Responsible For</p> <ul> <li>Owning the product backlog and priority of backlog items; ensure it is transparent, visible, and understood; </li><li>Creating and communicating backlog items (i.e., writing and accepting user stories); </li><li>Monitoring, triaging, and investigating production issues </li><li>Design, build, and maintain automated processes using Salesforce Flow to streamline member and participant growth journeys. </li><li>Configure and customize the user interface using Lightning App Builder and Page Layouts to optimize the experience for internal users and external participants. </li><li>Review technical solutions proposed by the development team to ensure they align with Salesforce best practices and minimize technical debt. </li><li>Assist in the maintenance of the security model, including Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules </li><li>Prioritizing and sequencing stories to maximize the business value delivered while maintaining a sustainable pace for the team. </li><li>Collaborating with IT back-end teams and shared services to assist decision-making and sequencing of critical technology enablers; </li><li>Analyzing functional and non-functional product requirements, dependencies, and constraints and decompose them into tasks for the development team; </li><li>Ensuring ongoing collaboration with other product development teams to align work and proactively manage cross-team dependencies; </li><li>Conduct demo and run UAT for all required stakeholders; </li><li>Working with our Salesforce System Administrator to coordinate upgrades or data integration changes requiring Rotary support. </li></ul> <p>Leadership Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Communication: Be open to receiving ideas from diverse viewpoints and able to communicate messages so that they are universally understood. </li><li>Collaboration: Builds partnerships and works jointly with others to meet shared objectives. </li><li>Accountability: Have a clear sense of ownership and take personal responsibility for actions. </li><li>Adaptability: Respond to changes willingly and recognize when to adjust based on the situation. </li></ul> <p>Salary range</p> <p>$109,350 - $121,500</p> <p>Why Work For Rotary?</p> <ul> <li>Generous medical, dental, and vision benefits package </li><li>Progressive 401k matching contributions </li><li>Above market and generous paid time off package </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Professional development opportunities </li><li>On-site cafeteria and coffee bar with special pricing for Rotary employees </li><li>Flextime-several different work schedules to choose from </li><li>Close to CTA, Metra, a variety of stores, and many food options </li></ul> <p>Please note:</p> <ul> <li>Rotary does not provide VISA sponsorship or relocation assistance </li></ul>
