<p>Senior Technical Accountant</p> <p>The individual in this role plays a crucial part in the company's financial health and success, supporting the goals and objectives of the Company and Finance department. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring technical accounting compliance for the Company's financial transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP, with a focus on lease accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close activities.</p> <ul> <li>Assist with technical accounting efforts, including the evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842) </li><li>Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to consolidation and financial reporting. </li><li>Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation, recording organizational policies and conclusions. </li><li>Prepare consolidated annual financial statements under US GAAP standards and associated disclosures. </li><li>Collaborate with external auditors on key accounting matters and support the accounting and finance teams during audits. </li><li>Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner. </li><li>Perform testing for the company's internal control compliance program. </li><li>Assist with special projects and tasks as needed. </li><li>Research and resolve reporting and general accounting issues </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. </li><li>CPA or equivalent certification required. </li><li>7-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, focusing on technical accounting and financial reporting. </li><li>Public audit experience or a mix of public accounting and technical accounting also acceptable </li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP and various accounting standards. </li><li>Note: This is an in-office role (4 days per week) </li></ul> <p>QuEra is committed to cultivating a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
