<p>Clark Retirement is seeking compassionate, dedicated Med Techs and CNAs for weekends only in our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing within Clark, a Life Plan Retirement Community. In your role, you will be assisting residents with their activities of daily living and if qualified, doing medication administration as well. We offer paid on the job training and a medication administration class to set you up for success in your role.</p> <p>Med Tech starting pay is $18.25/hour with an increase to $20.25/hour once you have passed the medication administration class!</p> <p>CNA starting pay is $21/hour. If you are a CNA and pass the medication administration class, there is an increase to $23/hour!</p> <p>Key Skills & Qualities:</p> <p>Knowledge of dementia preferred</p> <p>At least 1 year of experience passing medications in an assisted living setting OR</p> <p>Be a Certified Nurse Aide through the State of Michigan</p> <p>Desired traits: caring, responsible, respectful, empathetic, detail oriented</p> <p>Ability to work well with a team</p> <p>Familiar with Person Centered Living</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Distributes medication and provides treatments, personal care and assists with activities of daily living for elderly residents </li><li>Orders medications. Stores, distributes and documents all prescription and over the counter medication given to residents per protocols and as ordered by the physician </li><li>Communicates appropriate information to family members </li><li>Provides treatments, changes dressings, checks blood sugars, oxygen and vitals and other medical interventions according to physicians orders </li><li>Maintain all necessary documentation and charting in a timely and accurate manner </li><li>Assume the role of Care Partner (resident aide) as needed </li><li>Takes direction from Supervisor, asks for help when needed, supports team members </li><li>Reports changes in conditions or behaviors to nurses in a timely manner </li></ul> <p>Ready to join our team?</p> <p>About Clark:</p> <p>Clark is a Life Plan Community with a continuum of care.
