<p>Reporting to the Head chef acts as an integral member of the Kids & Company team to assist in the flow of day-to-day kitchen operations through the conscientious application of Kids & Company standards to achieve our mission statement.</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>We want to work with people who are committed to going above and beyond in customer service. Those with a friendly, outgoing personality that is appropriate for a child care center environment, as well as those with experience with children, will be given special consideration.</p> <p>You will need to have a tidy appearance and respectful manners.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Deliveries</p> <ul> <li>Load vans according to delivery manifests; assist fellow drivers in the loading process </li><li>Follow the route and schedule as stated to ensure on-time deliveries </li></ul> <p>Vehicle Maintenance and Cleaning</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining clean vehicle and cargo spaces daily </li><li>Fleet preparation work as assigned </li><li>Reporting issues or the appearance of warning lights immediately </li><li>Every day, inspect functional lights and signals, as well as wear and tear </li></ul> <p>Delivery Equipment Returns</p> <ul> <li>Clean delivery bags and cambro equipment thoroughly </li><li>Storing/organizing delivery equipment so that it is ready for use the next day </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 26 years of age (for insurance purposes) </li><li>3+ years of driving or work-related experience is preferred </li><li>Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record </li><li>Successful candidates will be required to submit their information for a background check & may require a Medical assessment </li><li>Excellent physical condition: able to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Experience in a daycare setting would be an asset. </li><li>Able to calmly assess problems and determine sensible solutions </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <p>Thank you for your interest in Kids & Company!
