<p>Administrative/ Security Assistant</p> <p>GBS Group is seeking a full-time Security Administrative Assistant to support our Facility Security Officer (FSO). This role will provide administrative support to manage an increased security workload and assist with maintaining security-related records and processes. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide administrative support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO)</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and update security files, records, and databases, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Personnel security records</p> </li><li> <p>Access lists</p> </li><li> <p>Badging information</p> </li><li> <p>Submit access requests and badge applications to various installations and shipyards</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with general security administrative functions as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all security-related documentation</p> </li><li> <p>General office administration</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Candidates must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>U.S. Citizenship required to obtain security clearance </li><li>Previous administrative experience required </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism </li><li>Clear verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a Security Assistant </li><li>Clearance eligibility </li><li>Familiarity with security databases and systems </li><li>Active security clearance </li></ul> <p>EEO Statement</p> <p>The GBS Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
