<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Activities Therapist is an advanced professional position providing direct therapeutic services to identified mental health and substance abuse clients within the Adult Emergency Crisis and Stabilization facility. The Activities Therapist will be responsible for maintaining patient care following program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). The therapist will provide clinical services to the following populations: individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.</p> <p>GRACEPOINT BENEFITS</p> <ul> <li>Full Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, Accidental, and 401(k) within 1 month of hire </li><li>Paid Training and Coaching </li><li>Non-Profit Organization Student Loan Forgiveness </li><li>Wellness Events </li><li>PTO accrual starts on day 1 of employment </li><li>Company Discount Perks </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a Human Services-related discipline and at least 1 year of experience in the behavioral health field. </li><li>State of Florida Registered Interns with clear/active status preferred. </li><li>Bilingual (English / Spanish) is recommended but not required. </li><li>Computer knowledge should include Microsoft applications (Word, Excel), and Electronic Medical Records experience is helpful. </li><li>May provide clinical oversight in a multidisciplinary team. </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough assessments and develop service plans, treatment plans, and discharge plans. </li><li>Facilitate process, psych-educational, recreational, and other clinical groups daily. </li><li>Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions for children and families in an acute care inpatient setting. </li><li>Accurate and timely documentation of clinical and administrative services following program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). </li><li>Meets productivity requirements for the designated program through efficient workflow management. </li><li>Maintains cooperative relationships with other internal departments and external agencies and keeps the supervisor informed at all times of all relevant clients, programs, and community issues. </li><li>Understand the basic tenets of Co-Occurring disorders and the relationship between mental health and substance abuse. </li><li>The therapist will also demonstrate knowledge of the age-specific needs of the clients treated in the program. </li><li>Other duties as assigned or needed as per program requirements </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>General office and health care setting. </li><li>May be required to travel within Hillsborough County via agency vehicle or personal vehicle to provide services in a community setting. </li><li>Most work is completed while seated using standard office equipment. Multi-tasking, fast-paced, team approach requiring above-average time management skills </li></ul> <p>Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm</p> <p>PSN 485</p>
