<p>Summary of Position</p> <p>Lifeguard Attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety of guests at indoor and outdoor aquatics facilities. Lifeguards must be vigilant, quick-thinking, and capable of handling stressful situations.</p> <p>Compensation for this position will reflect a increased rate effective January 5th, 2026.</p> <p>Normal Shift: Varies</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies </li><li>Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations, administering first-aid if necessary </li><li>Ensure patron safety and provide excellent customer service </li><li>Participate in regular in-service training </li><li>General cleaning through aquatics facilities </li></ul> <p>Qualifications or desired qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 15 years old </li><li>Previous lifeguard experience preferred, but not required </li><li>Must be able to successfully complete Jeff Ellis and Associates Lifeguard Certification prior to start date. </li></ul> <p>This position is open until filled, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
