Working with our industry partners we have obtained discounts for our employees on firearms, targets, optics, range passes, and many other products. </li></ul> <p>What will you be doing?</p> <p>Production Expeditor will report to the Planning Supervisor and is responsible for communicating with the various manufacturing departments to ensure the timely delivery of materials and components through all production phases ensuring parts are processed in time to meet schedule demands. The Expeditor will collaborate with Production and Supply Chain to follow up on progress, help communicate priorities, and expedite orders when necessary.</p> <p>Some of your day-to-day tasks?</p> <ul> <li>Follow Production Work Orders from beginning to end through the production process. </li><li>Expedite Production Work Orders through the production floor when necessary. </li><li>Provide a weekly update on Projects in various stages of production. </li><li>Assist in reviewing the schedule to determine materials and parts are available according to scheduled arrival/due date. </li><li>Coordinate with Planning, Sourcing, and Production to ensure timely execution of production plans. </li><li>Work with Planning and Production to help resolve any work order issues. </li><li>Identify potential risks associated with production schedules. </li><li>Perform other duties or special assignments as required. </li></ul> <p>What do you need to be able to do?</p> <ul> <li>Good understanding of production processes and great attention to detail. </li><li>Basic understanding of bill of materials, production routers and planning logic. </li><li>Relevant work experience a plus </li><li>Must be a motivated self-starter with an exceptional sense of urgency and drive to get things done. </li><li>Must be able to work on their own as well as in a team. </li><li>Knowledge of Excel preferred. </li><li>Communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. </li><li>Decision Making - Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures. </li><li>Negotiation Skills - Ability to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties. </li><li>Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and timely. </li><li>Organized - Must be organized and task-oriented.
