<p>Europe/Middle East, North Africa (MENA) Business Development Professional</p> <p>Our company exists to promote and protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We do that by designing, building, and supporting security and intelligence products. Our core expertise is in small, lightweight, high performance multi-mode radar systems for unmanned and manned aircraft. We cover the entire lifecycle, often beginning with defining a market where none exists, designing and building the product, training the customer on how to use the system, and supporting it in the field. We have some exciting opportunities and we are looking to expand our Business Development team by bringing on a Business Development Professional to help us take our product out to the European and Middle East, North Africa market.</p> <p>You will be the face of the company to our customers, so it's critically important that you are a cultural fit and embody our company values. There is immense opportunity internationally, and you will be responsible for capturing and shaping this opportunity. We are a small business with a small, but highly capable, team of Business Development and Sales professionals. This means you are expected to make a positive impact on IMSARs direction and profitability. You will spend a good portion of your time educating customers about radar, so you will need to quickly become technically competent in our technology.</p> <p>These are some of the things that are important to us:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>First and foremost, you are a good fit for the team and will enjoy working with us </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of Security Cooperation, specifically with regard to FMS, DCS and International Cooperative Agreements </li><li>Experience working with all U.S. agencies involved in Security Cooperation such as: COCOMs, ODCs, IPOs, etc. </li><li>Experience working with or selling defense products and services </li><li>Experience developing relationships with international customers, OEMs, primes, and integrators </li><li>Understanding of selling through FMS and DCS </li><li>Understanding about obtaining export licenses through the US State Department </li><li>Familiarity with project management methodologies </li><li>Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions </li><li>Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software </li><li>Can clearly communicate requirements and strategy for an opportunity to teammates and leadership </li><li>Able and willing to travel internationally, upwards of 50%, within the GSA travel requirements </li><li>Have or can obtain a SECRET security clearance </li><li>Have a BS or other advanced degree or Military service experience </li></ul> <p>Desired:</p> <ul> <li>Locally based near our headquarters in Springville, UT or willing to relocate </li><li>Experience with the DCS process, connecting end users, OEMs, and program offices </li><li>Experience with the FMS process, from pre-LOR to LOA, understanding of the pre-LOR regulations for capture strategy </li><li>Prior experience growing and nurturing a team of international, in-country representatives </li><li>An existing SECRET, or greater, security clearance </li></ul> <p>We like to take care of our team members.
