Salary and benefits in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the association and the Board of Education.</p> <p>Responsibilities: The Social Studies Teacher has the following responsibilities as listed below and other duties and responsibilities as shall be assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare instructional resources and assessments that support the delivery of the Avon Public School's curriculum, particularly the Social Studies discipline. </li><li>Develop and implement lesson plans, unit plans, and educational projects to ensure students' academic development. </li><li>Provide differentiated instructional strategies and assessment and/or modify the curriculum to meet the learning needs of students with structured learning plans (IEPs and 504s) </li><li>Provide support to all learners who require additional help or guidance with academic problems and concepts. </li><li>Other responsibilities as defined by the building principal or designee. </li></ul>
