CoreCivic is currently seeking a Senior Director, Partnership Relations located at our corporate office in Brentwood, TN. Come join a team that is dedicated to making an impact for the people and communities we serve.</p> <p>The Senior Director, Partnership Relations is responsible for managing and growing CoreCivic's business with current and potential government partners by expanding existing contracts and securing new agreements. Serves as the primary point of contact with government entities and designated CoreCivic facilities. Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, financial acumen, and exceptional communication skills, including the capacity to clearly explain complex issues.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level consistent with job performance requirements.</p> <ol> <li> <p>Educates government officials and decision-makers on public-private partnerships in corrections. Represents CoreCivic in testimony before legislative committees and public hearings to advance industry initiatives and goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and maintains relationships with current and prospective government partners, including elected officials, their staff, and correctional system leadership at the state, federal, and local levels to maximize business opportunities and ensure satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Leads government relations initiatives and monitors legislation that may impact CoreCivic or the industry. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of elected officials and candidates, recommends political contributions, and tracks relevant election cycles. Oversees the preparation of legislative updates and annual summaries.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares a complete and concise weekly written report on developments in assigned areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Directs contract lobbyists and consultants to promote CoreCivic and foster a favorable environment for correctional partnerships.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports the Public Affairs team in managing media responses.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists wardens and facility administrators in developing initiatives and cultivating relationships with government officials.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops proficiency in contract provisions for assigned partners. Participates in contract negotiations and renewals, and provides recommendations on per diems and other terms for new agreements and RFP responses.</p> </li><li> <p>Creates annual revenue and Heads-in-Beds (HIB) forecasts and delivers monthly updates to management for all assigned partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops strategic business plans aligned with company goals and identifies opportunities in new markets.</p> </li><li> <p>Quickly assimilates and processes new information, making informed recommendations to management and department staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Domestic U.S. travel is required.</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. (Experience may be substituted in some cases). </li><li>Experience in legislative/government affairs, business development, or labor relations is required. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills are essential. A deep understanding of the political and legislative process, as well as government contracting and procurement, is strongly preferred. </li><li>Must be self-motivated with a proven ability to manage projects and capitalize on strategic opportunities in alignment with CoreCivic's principles. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. </li><li>A valid Real ID is required. Position must be based in Georgia or Tennessee. </li></ul>
