Correctly assembles and distributes specialized nourishments using sanitary techniques. Assists the department in all clerical functions for patient meal service through accurate menu processing and assisting patients with menu selections. Maintains the Room Service computer system so that patient files are updated with appropriate dietary information according to physician order. Demonstrates skills necessary to coordinate menu selections for pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Assembles and distributes patient snacks. Collects soiled trays from patients' rooms. Maintains pantry refrigerators according to Department of Health standards.
