<p>We are seeking a dedicated and skilled phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves both out-patient and in-patient responsibilities, ensuring high-quality care and accurate specimen collection.</p> <p>Out-Patient Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform blood draws throughout the day, averaging 6 to 12 draws per hour. </li><li>Work primarily in the same room for most of the shift. </li></ul> <p>In-Patient Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Move throughout the hospital facility to collect blood samples from patients. </li><li>Respond to emergency/code situations to collect blood samples (training will be provided). </li><li>Collect and recollect various specimen samples. </li><li>Spin down and freeze specimens as required. </li></ul> <p>General Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform data entry for all collected samples. </li><li>Utilize a positive patient ID system to ensure accuracy and patient safety. </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>Phlebotomy, Venipuncture, Data entry, Customer Service, Medical Assistant, Blood draw, Venipuncture, Specimen collection, Geriatrics, Specimen processing</p> <p>Top Skills Details</p> <p>phlebotomy, venipuncture</p> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>High school diploma or GED</p> <p>Valid driver's license</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $27.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
