<p>Silver State Barricade and Sign</p> <p>Silver State Barricade and Sign is dedicated to the highest quality of customer service delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride, and company spirit!</p> <p>POSITION DESCRIPTION</p> <p>Under the immediate direction of the Sign Shop Manager, the Sign Shop will be responsible for communicating effectively with the manager to fabricate the signs and fill orders.</p> <p>BENEFITS</p> <p>This position offers the following benefits, which new employees are eligible for on the first day of the month after their first thirty days of employment:</p> <ul> <li>Medical </li><li>Vision </li><li>Dental </li><li>401k (with matching option) </li><li>PTO and company holidays </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Utilize warning signs, traffic cones, barrels, etc. per Nevada DOT regulatory requirements and standards. </li><li>Safely manage traffic through active work zones while standing, grasping a stop/slow paddle, and utilizing radio communication. </li><li>Count inventory to ensure adequate supplies are maintained on-site to process orders efficiently and to customer standards. </li><li>Consistently meet deadlines and maintain effective communication within warehouse to fulfill customer orders. </li><li>Wear proper PPE and follow all safety rules and regulations at all times. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience with thorough knowledge of sign fabrication. </li><li>Experience with Flagging preferred. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents to understand and deliver on client needs. </li><li>Ability to utilize and maintain sign-designing software and tools used to fabricate signs. </li><li>Excellent customer service skills. </li><li>Effective communication skills including active listening, asking appropriate questions, clarifying the issues, and expressing oneself clearly. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload based on company needs. </li><li>Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required for the position. </li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills for effective delegation of tasks. </li><li>Cutting, weeding, and finishing the final signs. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other business machines. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. </li><li>Required to walk, sit, stand, bend and stoop. </li></ul> <p>WORKING ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>Silver State Barricade and Sign is located in Sparks, NV.
