The Senior Accountant will also perform complete review of Concord Label Group's overhead expenses for accuracy and accrue marketing expenses as communicated by the FP&A team. Works under general direction.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Complete all month end closing duties as they relate to Accounts Payable, Royalty accounting, marketing and overhead expenses </li><li>Maintain balance sheet schedules for accuracy on a monthly basis for accounts including but not limited to, Trade Payable, Royalties Payable, Accrued Liabilities, Accrued Bonuses, Escheatment, and Accrued Vacation </li><li>Oversee overhead within the business unit for accuracy and timeliness by accruing and reclassing expenses as needed </li><li>Review overhead expenses with the finance team on a monthly basis to understand the budget and coding for incoming transactions </li><li>Have an understanding of workflows to implement proper accounting methods and principles </li><li>Research and resolve issues in a timely manner and with urgency as needed </li><li>Communicate and build various professional relationships with outside contacts as well as within the organization </li><li>Complete various ad hoc requests by management and other departments </li><li>Performs all duties inherent in a senior accountant role </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and/or Masters' degree specializing in Accounting and/or Finance </li><li>3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience </li><li>CPA preferred but not required. </li><li>Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Adaptable to the evolving needs of the organization </li><li>Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel </li><li>Proactive self-starter; ability to take the lead and work with little direction </li><li>Extremely high attention to details </li><li>Outstanding communication and organization skills </li><li>Able to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously </li><li>Prior entertainment experience preferred but not required </li><li>Well-developed communication and presentation skills </li><li>General agreement and acceptance of the Company's core values </li><li>This job is hybrid- requiring 3 days a week minimum on site. </li></ul> <p>At Concord, we offer comprehensive medical and wellness benefits, generous time off, parental leave, charity match, paid time off for volunteering, and other fun company perks.
