<p>This job was posted by https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov : For more</p> <p>Information, Please See</p> <p>https://illinoisjoblink.illinois.gov/jobs/12901181</p> <p>POSTION SUMMARY</p> <p>Support the Finance function in improvement and design of new or</p> <p>existing processes by collecting business requirements for</p> <p>recommendations in data governance, process design, report development,</p> <p>and software implementation/development.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Support the Finance function in delivering best in class service and </li></ul> <p>information to a wide range of stakeholders (including management,</p> <p>Partners, Other Professional Staff Functions)</p> <ul> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose </li></ul> <p>innovative solutions</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to the development and enhancement of best practices, </li></ul> <p>methodologies, documentation and data governance</p> <ul> <li>Leverage analytic methodologies such as user-driven business </li></ul> <p>analysis, functional requirements gathering, product assessment and</p> <p>evaluation, use case development and user stories to further detail</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Translate business requirements into functional and technical </li></ul> <p>designs and implementation plans; document designs and plans in a</p> <p>clear and concise manner while incorporating user and stakeholder</p> <p>feedback</p> <ul> <li>Perform analysis, validation and quality assurance on data flows and </li></ul> <p>processes including coordination of testing and review with users</p> <p>and stakeholders as appropriate</p> <ul> <li>Work with cross-functional teams (IT, project management, developers </li></ul> <p>and other business services functions) to design, test and implement</p> <p>solutions</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate PowerBI development activities for Finance-owned </li></ul> <p>solutions and engage with stakeholders outside of Finance for</p> <p>PowerBI solutions leveraging Finance-oriented data and metrics</p> <ul> <li>Support implementation of a new ERP with a focus on business </li></ul> <p>analysis of ancillary and related process changes</p> <ul> <li>Perform project management duties for smaller assigned projects </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>An experienced business analyst possessing strong analytical,</p> <p>Organizational And Communication Skills</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a functional business analyst, preferably </li></ul> <p>in a law firm or professional services organization</p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Administration </li></ul> <p>or related field, or equivalent work experience</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical skills and the ability to critically evaluate </li></ul> <p>complex business processes and systems</p> <ul> <li>Experience writing functional documentation, creating process maps </li></ul> <p>and documenting workflows</p> <ul> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills, effective listening, </li></ul> <p>presentation and facilitation skills</p> <ul> <li>Communicate effectively with stakeholders from a variety of levels </li></ul> <p>and functions</p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of service-based industry business operations with </li></ul> <p>Finance Experience Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision </li><li>Able to multi-task, prioritize and handle a fast paced, unstructured </li></ul> <p>environment</p> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail and good business judgment </li><li>Well organized, able to work independently, comprehend business </li></ul> <p>requirements and proactively identify systems and reporting</p> <p>Capabilities To Address Those Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Results-oriented, dependable, adhere to established time commitments </li></ul> <p>and demonstrate strong customer service attributes</p> <ul> <li>Ability to identify root causes, incorporate empirical data and </li></ul> <p>deliver defendable solutions</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio; experience with </li></ul> <p>PowerBI preferred</p>
