The position offers minimal travel requirements and provides exposure to technically challenging work in an expanding environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact by actively engaging and collaborating with customers throughout the project lifecycle. </li><li>Plan, coordinate, and execute projects while maintaining control over scope, timelines, and budgets. </li><li>Interpret customer specifications and translate requirements into actionable project deliverables. </li><li>Monitor and manage changes affecting project scope, schedule, and cost. </li><li>Produce and deliver accurate drawing packages to manufacturing and partner closely with production to ensure product quality. </li><li>Identify challenges, troubleshoot issues, and make timely, well-informed decisions. </li><li>Uphold and enforce quality standards across all project phases. </li><li>Build and sustain strong, long-term customer relationships. </li><li>Assign and oversee work distributed to the engineering team and production. </li><li>Track project metrics, evaluate outcomes, and document lessons learned for continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Project management experience. </li><li>Engineering knowledge. </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MicroStation. </li><li>Electrical engineering expertise. </li><li>Design skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Project Management. </li><li>1-3 years of experience managing projects in an industrial or manufacturing setting. </li><li>At least 1 year of experience reading AutoCAD drawings and specifications. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is based primarily in an office setting within a rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing organization. Project Managers spend approximately 75-80% of their time at a desk collaborating with engineering, quality, and planning teams, with regular time on the production floor engaging with foremen and operations staff. Occasional customer interaction occurs onsite, as clients frequently visit the facility for project reviews and tours. Travel to customer sites is rare and typically limited to specialized installation teams. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with 40-hour work weeks.
