Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to identify learning challenges and improving study skills.</p> <p>Other assistance may include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, preparing for tests, formulating ideas for papers, and working on solutions to help improve academic skills and abilities.</p> <p>Tutoring is a supplement to classroom teaching.</p> <p>Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>High School Diploma, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required.</p> <p>The incumbent will be required to pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Background check</p> <p>Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.</p> <p>Preferences</p> <p>EE, CE, or CS undergraduate students with a good understanding of the material in the core undergraduate ECE courses.</p> <p>Special Instructions Summary Additional Information</p> <p>The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems ("URS").
