The ideal candidate will play a valuable role in inspiring and creating pathways for student success.</p> <p>Work Schedule / Pay Periods for 10-Month Positions:</p> <ul> <li>Work Hours - 9:00a.m. - 2:30p.m. (1/2 hr unpaid lunch) </li><li>Your work schedule will follow student attendance full and half days during the school year -- approximately 177 student days mid-August through early June </li><li>While there are typically no pay periods July through August, you'll enjoy summers off to spend more time with your family </li><li>For a full school year, your bi-weekly pays will typically begin by mid-September and continue through late-June. </li></ul> <p>Benefits Upon Eligibility:</p> <ul> <li>Inclusion/continuation in the Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) through payroll contributions </li><li>Four (4) Paid Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day </li><li>After a successful Probationary Period of 90 calendar days, you'll receive Paid Leave: 3 Personal Days and 10 Sick Days. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Ability to relate to students </li><li>Being child-centered, warm, and receptive toward children </li><li>Ability to carry out oral and written communication and follow instructions </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others </li><li>Acceptable record of attendance required. </li></ul> <p>Dallastown Area School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).</p>
