<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Business Process Owner (BPO) is responsible for managing and continuously improving one or more end-to-end business processes within an organization. Acting as the central point of accountability, the BPO ensures that the process aligns with business goals, delivers value, and meets performance expectations.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Define and document the process strategy, scope, and objectives. </li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align process improvements with business needs. </li><li>Monitor process performance using KPIs and analytics to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or compliance risks. </li><li>Lead or support process redesign initiatives, ensuring consistency, quality, and scalability. </li><li>Own the governance of the process, including change management, documentation, and training. </li><li>Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned process, providing guidance and resolving escalations. </li><li>Partner with IT, operations, and other departments to implement systems or tools supporting the process. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, or related. </li><li>5 years of HVAC manufacturing operations experience. </li><li>Lean Six Sigma or related process certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of business operations and process design. </li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. </li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities. </li><li>Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). </li><li>Familiarity with relevant tools such as BPM software, ERP systems, or workflow platforms </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>Often work will be performed in a climate-controlled office setting. Occasionally, employee will work in a manufacturing facility and be exposed to:</p> <ul> <li>Humidity, loud noises, dirt </li><li>Varying temperatures </li><li>Sheet Metal </li><li>Forklift traffic </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Lift up to 10 lbs. </li><li>Ability to think, problem solve and communicate effectively. </li><li>Must be able to view computer monitors and manufacturing processes and hear forklift and other horns and alarms. </li><li>Sitting for prolonged periods </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer:</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
