TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p> <ul> <li>Level II Trauma Center </li><li>Primary Stroke Center </li><li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li><li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li><li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li></ul> <p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices.</p> <p>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Assists nurses, physicians, and mid-level practitioners in the safe delivery of patient care. </li><li>Assists in coordination of patient care with other departments. </li><li>Assists in the maintenance of a well-stocked, no expired supplies/equipment, and clean Emergency Department. </li></ul> <p>Reports:</p> <p>RN, Assistant Nurse Managers</p> <p>Supervises:</p> <p>None</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <p>Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age.</p> <p>Required Experience:</p> <p>Minimum: six (6) months patient care experience for a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). No experience required for Nursing Students who have completed their 1st semester of clinical rotations; or Florida Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).</p> <p>Required Certification/License/Registry:</p> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
