As we continue to accelerate our progress, we're seeking educators who are committed, reflective, and ready to collaborate in a learning-focused, student-centered environment.</p> <p>If you're ready to make a meaningful difference and grow as part of a dedicated team, consider building your career with Southbridge Public Schools.</p> <p>Position Opportunity:</p> <ul> <li>Under the direction of the Director of SEL and Principal, the PBIS Tier 1 Coach will be responsible for the overall management of the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program including providing training and technical assistance to school teams and PBIS Coaches to maintain and develop school-wide PBIS systems. </li></ul> <p>Performance Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate sustainability and expansion of PBIS practices district-wide. </li><li>Provide and/or facilitate quality training at all three tiers of PBIS: universal, secondary and tertiary. </li><li>Recruitment, staffing, training, and ongoing support to district level PBIS Coaches. </li><li>Oversee school level data collection, management and analysis. </li><li>Train and provide ongoing technical and data analysis support to staff who use school-wide data collection systems. </li><li>Train and provide ongoing technical and data analysis support to staff who use secondary tier data collection systems. </li><li>Collect and monitor school databases to track and analyze student behavioral data including climate survey patterns. </li><li>Participate in regional, statewide and national PBIS leadership conferences and meetings. </li><li>Ongoing coaching of school-based PBIS teams. </li><li>Attend monthly coaches meetings held outside of school hours for an hour each month. </li><li>Attend all coaches and team trainings throughout the school year. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Work is performed in a variety of locations including office and school environments. Involves sitting, walking, use of computers, office equipment and driving personal vehicle. May require attendance at some evening meetings. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree. </li><li>Knowledge of research related to positive behavioral interventions and supports at all three tiers: universal, secondary and tertiary. </li><li>Experience planning and conducting professional development / training. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership and project organizational skills (planning, implementing, evaluation). </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with various groups and gain consensus related to project implementation and other problem solving. </li><li>Experience in data-based decision making. </li><li>Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with individuals, teams, and groups (teachers, parents, administrators and support staff). </li></ul> <p>Stipend: $1500</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Southbridge Public Schools is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, gender identity, disability, religion, age, or sexual orientation.</p>
