<p>Nyobolt is seeking a Senior Li-Ion Cell Engineer to lead sustaining engineering activities for Li-ion cells in continuous production. This role is critical in ensuring product quality, reliability, and ongoing process improvement across manufacturing operations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead Cell Sustaining Engineering to support Li-ion cells in continuous production environments. </li><li>Own and drive change management processes, including reviewing and approving or rejecting changes to BOM, cell design, specifications, and manufacturing processes. </li><li>Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to analyse process yields, production trends, and EOL/in-process quality data, developing and implementing improvement plans. </li><li>Lead or support root cause analysis for field failures, production quality issues, and validation challenges, including directing testing, teardown analysis, and material/component investigations. </li><li>Develop, maintain, and update Design FMEAs (DFMEA). </li><li>Support manufacturing teams in the development and continuous improvement of Process FMEAs (PFMEA). </li><li>Support material and component sourcing strategies, including second sourcing, qualification, and validation activities. </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation for cell design, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in product design, development, or manufacturing support. </li><li>Experience in Li-ion cell design, development, or production is highly desirable. </li><li>Proven experience in a sustaining engineering role, ideally supporting high-volume Li-ion cell production and product transfer from development to manufacturing. </li><li>Strong understanding of Li-ion cell design, performance, and manufacturing processes, including FMEA methodologies. </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving ability, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on, data-driven analysis. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. </li><li>Self-motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. </li></ul> <p>What you will have at Nyobolt:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary </li><li>5% 401(k) company contribution </li><li>Comprehensive healthcare benefits (health, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.) 100% of premium covered. </li><li>Health Spending Account (HSA) </li><li>Flexible work schedule </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Paid Time Off and Sick leave </li><li>Frequent social and team-building events </li></ul> <p>Please note: We are unable to support work visas for this position</p> <p>About Nyobolt:</p> <p>Nyobolt offers high-performance battery and charging technologies to create a world where lengthy charge times no longer exist.
