Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges.</p> <p>This intern position will support Lane's Estimating Team in the Charlotte, NC office.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist with quantity takeoffs and basic cost calculations.</p> </li><li> <p>Review plans and specifications to identify project scope.</p> </li><li> <p>Help prepare cost estimates, bid documents, and proposal materials.</p> </li><li> <p>Gather and organize subcontractor and vendor quotes.</p> </li><li> <p>Update estimating files, historical cost data, and internal databases.</p> </li><li> <p>Support team meetings and occasional site visits to understand project conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide general administrative and documentation support for active bids.</p> </li><li> <p>May work with HCSS heavy bid, Bluebeam, & Primavera software.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Pursuing a B.S or M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related degree to function</p> <p>Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
