<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinic Operations, the Senior Operations Manager (SOM) will direct the overall operations of the clinics within their perspective regions. The SOM will ensure the Site Manager follows CHSI policies, budgetary guidelines, and carries out the mission and vision of CHSI. This position has the overall responsibility of ensuring the success of the Clinics in the areas of: Productivity, Quality Improvement Measures, Grants, Safety and Corporate Compliance.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Oversight of the operations within the clinics and Site Managers. </li><li>Responsible for the accountability of the Site Managers relating to their specific job duties and areas of responsibility. </li><li>Makes routine rounds throughout the clinics to ensure a quality environment of care is being provided to our patients. </li><li>Meets with the QI, Compliance Department, and Medical/Dental Directors to ensure the correct and effective implementation of CHSIs Quality Improvement Program is being followed. </li><li>Evaluates current operational policies and procedures. Develops and recommends new operational policies and procedures to Director of Clinic Operations. </li><li>Develops, recommends and implements specific tools for monitoring and evaluating benchmarks within the clinics. </li><li>Prepare written or verbal reports to Senior Management as directed. </li><li>Collaborates with the Community Relations Department to develop and implement programs of community engagement in relation to the mission and vision of CHSI. </li><li>Collaborates with the QI Department to ensure effective implementation and reporting of any grants operating in the clinics. </li><li>Works with the Corporate Compliance Department to ensure current certification and licensing of buildings or programs for the clinics. </li><li>Involved in the recruitment and interviewing process for management level and Provider staff as needed. </li><li>The SOM works in conjunction with the Human Resources Department to manage critical personnel issues and follows all State and Federal regulations as well as CHSI policies concerning personnel. </li><li>Assists other CHSI Directors, as needed, to fulfill department responsibilities and requirements. </li><li>Consults with other Directors, COO and/or CEO concerning matters that require immediate attention beyond his/her scope of authority or span of control. </li><li>Designates appropriate level contact person when he/she is out of the area or unavailable. </li><li>Responsible for participating in quality improvement projects/activities and accountable for quality and PCMH. </li><li>Perform all other duties as directed either formally or informally, verbally or in writing. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Directly supervises Site Managers in the performance of their clinic operations.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred </li><li>Strong leadership skills; sound decision making skills and the ability to motivate personnel are required </li><li>Possess strong customer service skills in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact and negotiate with co-workers, management, vendors and others as necessary. </li><li>A high standard of professionalism and professional ethics and conduct is expected in speech, manner, attitude and appearance at all times. </li><li>Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others. </li><li>Ability to deal effectively with changing situations and stressful environment. </li><li>Proficient level of knowledge and the ability to use modern office equipment and systems to include Word and Excel spreadsheets is required. </li><li>Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to complete the responsibilities of the position. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and/or minimum five (5) years management experience in a health clinic or related field.</p>
