<p>Full-Time, 40 hours a week. Location is Middlebury, CT</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Administrator is responsible for performing clerical services and has the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. This position utilizes communication/interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with patients, families, physicians, vendors, and staff.</p> <p>EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>At least one (1) year working in an office setting with experience in Outlook and Microsoft Word. </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Ability to prioritize and communicate clearly while working independently in a team environment. </li><li>Maintains integrity of MPP systems, equipment and business. </li><li>Commitment to customer service with a pleasant, professional telephone demeanor. </li><li>Adherence to MPP Confidentiality Agreement. </li><li>Detail oriented and organized. </li><li>Flexible and willing to adjust the scope to meet the needs of the business. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication with co-workers and patients using the English language to communicate appropriately and clearly to team leader, co-workers and other members of the health care team. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Disclaimer: Job descriptions are not intended, nor should they be construed to be, exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with the job. These responsibilities and competencies listed below may change from time to time.</p> <ul> <li>Manage the daily courier service -, troubleshooting, route changes, etc. </li><li>Responsible for all deposits and cash reconciliations. Maintain daily deposit log. </li><li>Log and distribute (via scans and email) manual charges to charge entry staff. </li><li>Print and submit all secondary claims. </li><li>Support RCM team as needed. </li><li>Registrations </li><li>Collections: account flags, bad addresses </li><li>Handle all incoming mail, including lockbox material. Go to the post office as needed. Sort and distribute as needed. </li><li>Answer phones as needed and handle or escalate as warranted. </li><li>Special Projects as needed. </li></ul>
