We are dedicated to providing superior service to one another and our community. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to) for a Housekeeper II:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains overall cleanliness of all assigned areas. Primary duties to include mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting ,trash removal, and general cleaning. </li><li>Sanitizes common areas, public and private bathrooms, and the overall cleaning of resident living areas. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality with reference to resident information </li><li>Communicates effectively with staff members; residents and family to ensure needs are met. </li><li>Organizes materials and manages time to ensure tasks are done in a timely manner. </li><li>Uses all equipment, chemicals, and supplies according to OSHA, state, and facility guidelines. </li><li>Adheres to the dress code and wearing a visible nametag while on the job </li><li>Knows and follows the policies in the Oakwood team member handbook. </li><li>Completes departmental and general in-services training. </li><li>Reports work orders to the appropriate department and maintain a safe working environment </li><li>Operates appriopriately all department machinery: including but not limited to Host machine, auto scrubber, stripper, upholstery/extractor machine, and wide-area vacuum, etc. </li><li>Responsible for cleaning of carpets and upholstery to help maintain them in good condition, to include daily cleaning and caring for all floor-care machinery. </li><li>Responsible to strip, wax, buff, mop all hard floors as needed to keep up attractive appearances. </li><li>Supports and serves as back up of housekeeper I positions as needed. </li><li>Completes work orders pertaining to emergency floor care maintenance. </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS of a Housekeeper II</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. </li><li>Work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and occasional overtime. </li><li>Work in a partnership environment which fosters effective teamwork. </li><li>Maintains departmental quality assurance and infection control standards. </li><li>Willing to be cross-trained in order to fill in at other housekeeping areas as needed. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND/OR TRAINING for a Housekeeper II</p> <ul> <li>High school education or equivalency preferred. </li><li>Prior housekeeping experience and/or floor care experience preferred. </li></ul>
