<p>What's the Role?</p> <p>The Illustrations Output team is looking for a talented and driven software engineer. We support a variety of Node.js services developed in Javascript and TypeScript, and React micro frontend applications, in support of the Illustrations application, a critical insurance sales tool. We believe in a strong team culture where everyone is responsible for quality and is held accountable..</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and implement high-quality, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node. </li><li>Maintain and implement new features in micro front end applications using Javascript and React </li><li>Develop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the APIs. </li><li>Provide strong technical presence to team. </li><li>Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring code quality standards are met. </li><li>Establishes, aggregates, and shares team standards and best practices within department. </li><li>Utilizes working relationships across teams within their division. </li><li>Provide technical support and assistance to clients and end-users as needed. Assesses and provides solutions to system-wide architectural problems. Manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and business goals. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>4-5 years professional experience required. </li><li>3-5+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices. </li><li>Demonstrated critical thinking, ownership mindset and continuous learning. Experience developing solutions using agile methods. </li><li>Advanced skillset in one or more technical platforms. </li><li>Capable of communicating between product, engineering, and the business. Manages own time to meet objectives. </li><li>Ability to perform peer reviews on code and design. </li><li>Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture. </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>Pay Range - Start:</p> <p>$92,750.00</p> <p>Pay Range - End:</p> <p>$172,250.00</p> <p>Geographic Specific Pay Structure:</p> <p>We believe in fairness and transparency.
