<p>Job Description</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Under general supervision performs complex analyses on a variety of sample types, utilizing independent judgment to generate acceptable test results. Performs as lead by managing workflow, mentoring others and serving as a clinical and technical resource.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Independently performs responsibilities of MLS I, MLS II and MLS III. </li><li>Leads quality improvement initiatives as a member of a multi-disciplinary patient care services team. Develops and leads efforts to improve regulatory compliance within and beyond the department. </li><li>Assists leadership team with interviewing, orienting, training and supervising. Provides input to leadership team for performance evaluations and corrective actions. </li><li>Collaborates with leadership in identifying gaps and opportunities for professional development and strategic organizational initiatives.
