The cover letter should address your specific interest in the position and outline skills and experience that directly relate to this position.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>A research technician is wanted for a project in a basic science laboratory specializing in research in immunodermatology. The position will entail laboratory bench work to study basic molecular and cellular biology.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <p>Perform routine molecular and cellular biology experimental procedures under the supervision research staff. These experimental procedures include but are not limited to processing of human skin samples for single-cell RNA-sequencing, isolation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from whole human blood, cryosectioning, DNA/RNA/protein extraction, microscopy, cell culture, and any other experimental protocols needed to move the project forward. Maintain thorough experimental records and protocols. Perform simple data analysis.</p> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a science-related field. </li><li>3 or more years of lab experience. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment are essential. </li><li>Lab experience in molecular and cell biology techniques including human cells and tissue processing, tissue sectioning, DNA/RNA isolation, microscopy. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Experience in mouse work. </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
