This role involves preparing classrooms and training areas, ensuring the functionality and availability of training materials, props, and equipment, focuses on preparing classrooms and training areas, maintaining equipment and materials, and performing light housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Learning Experience Operations the Learning Experience Specialist plays a critical role in delivering a professional and seamless training experience for franchisees.</p> <p>You will</p> <p>Execute training classroom set-up and break-down according to predefined room templates, ensuring all materials and equipment are in place and functional.</p> <p>Perform housekeeping and cleaning tasks, arrange furniture, place student materials, and ensure classroom supplies and equipment are inventoried regularly and replenished as needed.</p> <p>Prepare training areas for hands-on demonstrations and practice exercises by setting up equipment, samples of SERVPRO products, and special materials and props.</p> <p>Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on schedule and meet expectations, including classroom setup, cleaning, light maintenance, and preparation for hands-on practice exercises.</p> <p>Set up auditoriums and other classrooms to accommodate meetings and sessions as requested.</p> <p>Perform scheduled light maintenance tasks in training facilities, such as painting baseboards and trim.</p> <p>Assist with event coordination by preparing materials, confirming logistics (e.g., catering, room reservations), and ensuring alignment with the Supervisors event plans.</p> <p>Support communication efforts by distributing event-related information to registrants, facilitators, or vendors as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring timely and accurate updates.</p> <p>Support the Franchise Training team and organizational initiatives by taking on additional responsibilities as needed.</p> <p>You have</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read, write, and communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner. </li><li>Minimum of 3 -5 yrs. work experience as a Maintenance Technician or Custodian in a mid to large-sized organizational setting. </li><li>Proficiency in operating equipment and tools used in light housekeeping and cleaning applications, with the ability to perform general property maintenance tasks. </li><li>Basic proficiency with MS-Outlook. Working familiarity with standard office equipment. Basic keyboarding skills. </li><li>Effective interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have the ability to successfully work with others from different backgrounds and experiences. </li><li>Highly organized with a strong customer service focus. </li><li>Certificates or skills certifications earned in specific vocational trade areas a plus. </li><li>Cleaning or restoration industry experience is strongly desired. </li><li>Service-industry experience is helpful. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
