This position leads efforts to embed career development into academic and co-curricular settings, manages digital tools and communications that promote services and student success, and contributes to a student-centered, data-informed Career Services team.</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <p>Responsibility Area: Career Advising and Student Support\ Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Provide one-on-one and group advising to help students explore career options and set goals. (E) </li><li>Coach students on employment skills, including resume writing, interviewing, and job-search strategies. (E) </li><li>Prepare students for participation in experiential learning opportunities. (E) </li></ul> <p>Percentage Of Time 30 Essential Function: Yes Responsibility Area: Career Development Programming and Campus Partnerships\ Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Design and deliver career readiness workshops tailored to diverse student needs. (E) </li><li>Develop programming on topics such as resume writing, job search, interview preparation, and workplace readiness. (E) </li><li>Collaborate with campus partners to embed career education into curricular and co-curricular contexts. (E) </li><li>Partner with faculty and staff to deliver college-specific programming and in-class presentations. (E) </li><li>Support faculty in integrating career development into academic coursework. (E) </li><li>Advise on best practices for incorporating experiential learning into student experiences. (E) </li><li>Leads marketing and communications strategies for Career Services, including content creation and management for the department's website, social media platforms, newsletters, and campaigns that promote events, services, and student success stories. (E) </li><li>Provide training, resources, and responsive support to users across the university. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and IT partners to troubleshoot issues and improve the user experience. (E) </li><li>Track and interpret system usage data to inform program improvements and strategic planning.
