<p>Job Title</p> <p>Event Specialist</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Calling all planners! We are searching for our newest Event Specialist. This person will primarily manage our tradeshow programs, with support for hosted conferences and internal events . If you color-code your shopping lists, ponder how that movie set was built, or take guilty pleasure in building budgets - you're one of us and we want to hear from you!</p> <p>This role is based in our Chelmsford, MA headquarters and expected to be in-office at least 4 days a week.</p> <p>What you'll do here as an Event Specialist:</p> <p>Core responsibilities include the strategic project management of assigned event programs, with team support for other creative endeavors as needed.</p> <p>General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Own the planning and execution of assigned Axis conferences, tradeshows, and internal events. </li><li>Manage planning process, meetings, stakeholder communication, and attendee journey. </li><li>Onsite lead for internal/external attendees, vendors, and speakers. </li><li>Sponsorship strategy, show branding. </li><li>Facilitate event service orders, shipping, activities, lead processing, event software platform build out, promotional orders, and all other logistical functions. </li><li>Budget ownership for respective programs - building, reconciling, and forecasting. </li><li>Manage vendor relationships and support sourcing of vendors and systems as needed. </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to understand our offerings, market landscape, and operations, aligning events to support the achievement of our company goals. </li></ul> <p>Who are we looking for/Who are you?</p> <ul> <li>Superior attention to detail </li><li>Exceptional organizational skills </li><li>Ability to responsibly prioritize and multitask in a time sensitive environment </li><li>Top notch communicator </li><li>Quick and creative problem solver </li><li>Outgoing, professional, and welcoming demeanor </li><li>Flexible and cross-functional team player </li></ul> <p>We'd love to hear that you have/are:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field </li><li>5+ years of event coordinating experience </li><li>5+ years customer service experience </li></ul> <p>Not required, but awesome if you have them:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) </li><li>Certified Trade Show Marketer (CTSM) </li><li>Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) </li></ul> <p>Target Salary:</p> <p>The approximate pay range for this role is $75K- $85K. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
