<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Stamford, CT.</p> <p>Day to Day Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Senior Accountant will lead month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely reconciliations of all accounts, (balance sheet, income statement, multiple banks, etc.) </li><li>Prepare budget to actual variance analysis, supplying detailed "drill down" management reports </li><li>Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records, ensuring data integrity and accuracy </li><li>Assist with an ERP software data integration and "go live" process </li><li>Support audits and internal control, risk minimization, and process efficiency initiatives </li><li>As a Senior Accountant, you will work with internal teams to ensure financial controls and compliance </li><li>Assist with audit preparation and provide support to external auditors* Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li>3+ years of accounting, variance, and/or audit experience </li><li>Management reporting, and multi-entity reconciliation experience </li><li>Contract Analysis and revenue recognition exposure </li><li>Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) </li></ul>
