<p>Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Business Analyst in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Stamford, CT. We're looking for a Business Analyst/Project Coordinator to help deliver Rich Communication Services (RCS)/Rich Business Messaging (RBM) as a new customer communication channel. This role blends project coordination with hands-on analysis, working closely with delivery, content, and technical teams to bring the channel to life and optimize it over time.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Partner with the Unified Customer Communications (UCC) delivery team on RCS/RBM implementation </li><li>Collaborate with upstream/downstream teams (Development, QA, BA, Solutions Architecture, PM) to turn business vision into deliverables </li><li>Gather, document, and manage requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria </li><li>Audit and improve existing customer communications; Draft new RCS content aligned to objectives, compliance, and customer experience </li><li>Understand backend integration needs and dependencies; Support testing and validate rendering in RCS environments </li><li>Track milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects </li><li>Develop expertise in RCS/RBM capabilities, limitations, and best practices* 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or similar role in tech or communications </li><li>Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting clear customer-facing content </li><li>Experience working with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams </li><li>Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with messaging platforms or telecom projects </li><li>Understanding of RCS/RBM, SMS, MMS, or other messaging protocols </li><li>Exposure to backend integration or API-driven workflows </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Messaging Systems: RCS/RBM fundamentals, SMS/MMS workflows, carrier considerations, character limits </li><li>Integration Knowledge: Basic API concepts (REST/JSON), reading API documentation, understanding event triggers </li><li>Testing & QA: Test planning, UAT execution, validating content and logs, defect tracking (Jira). </li><li>Analytics: Interpreting delivery/engagement reports; basic SQL a plus. Soft Skills: Translating business needs into technical requirements, troubleshooting across systems, understanding workflows and integration points. Tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects </li></ul>
