The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Role Summary:</p> <p>The Director, Corporate Strategy & Development is a key part of a lean team identifying and shepherding organic and inorganic growth opportunities across the portfolio of businesses included in Comcast's upcoming spin-off transaction (referred to here as "SpinCo"). The group provides strategic support and thought partnership to the CEO and COO/CFO on all companywide growth priorities, as well as partnering with business leaders across the company in their core business priorities and examining potential acquisition targets.</p> <p>Projects will require strategic thinking, research, analysis, modeling, and building recommendations for the full suite of SpinCo leadership. The position offers unique exposure across SpinCo leadership and the opportunity to participate in high-level strategic decision-making critical both to launching SpinCo as a new company and defining its future.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support critical activities in closing the spin-off transaction including developing the debt / equity investor story, preparing leadership for the equity roadshow process, and drafting key strategic inputs for the Form 10 and initial 10-K filings </li><li>Identify and evaluate strategies and growth opportunities, including acquisition targets </li><li>Prepare business plans, financial models and market analyses </li><li>Present recommendations, including analysis and conclusions, to senior management </li><li>Manage projects and communication flow across SpinCo </li><li>Other projects as required by the CEO, COO/CFO, or Head of Corporate Strategy, Development, and FP&A </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience that includes a combination of the following:</p> </li><li> <p>Management consulting or investment banking within a Media, Technology & Telecom practice</p> </li><li> <p>Business development, strategy, corporate development, or corporate finance at a media or technology company</p> </li><li> <p>Proven analytical skills, including significant financial modeling experience</p> </li><li> <p>Solid interest in the media industry</p> </li><li> <p>Outstanding written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic thinking with strong intellectual curiosity</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional presence and ability to interface effectively with multiple levels of management</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast-moving team</p> </li></ul> <p>Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
