<p>Public Health Outreach Coordinator</p> <p>(Part-Time - 25 Hours/Week; Potential for Full-Time Hours in the Future)</p> <p>Tri-County SPC Region: Cranston, Johnston, North Providence, Scituate & Smithfield</p> <p>Flexible schedule, must be based in Rhode Island</p> <p>Make a real impact in your community.</p> <p>Join Tri-County's SPC Regional Prevention Coalition and help prevent substance use, promote mental health, and lead opioid overdose prevention efforts across five municipalities.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead opioid overdose prevention outreach to businesses and colleges </li><li>Deliver engaging presentations to college students and community partners </li><li>Build and strengthen community partnerships </li><li>Coordinate events, trainings, and other relevant activities </li><li>Create program materials, track deliverables, and complete program reports </li><li>Support broader prevention initiatives across the department </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required in a related field ie. psychology, sociology, public health </li><li>Experience with community outreach, public health, prevention, or coalition work </li><li>Strong public speaking, organization, and communication skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (graphic design and web tools a plus) </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
