Experience working with autistic and behavior management students preferred. Duties include teaching and co-teaching, as well as participation in the SRBI process, PPTs, and parent conferences. It is essential that the candidates demonstrate ability to write IEPs in accordance with state and federal mandates, case manage several special education students, and plan lessons for instructional assistants who work with specific students and groups of students.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Connecticut Teaching Certificate or the ability to qualify, with appropriate endorsement(s), and expertise in curriculum sub-areas. (Certificate #065, #165, #265)</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Certified substitute will receive 80% of the BA/BS Degree Level, Step 1 ($218.59 per day for 2025/2026 SY).
