<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Department of Education at Salve Regina University invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach in the M.Ed. graduate program in Special Educations. The successful candidate will teach a course in a designated area of expertise. All courses are taught online either during the fall or spring semester or during the 7-week summer sessions.</p> <p>Summer 2027 Courses</p> <ul> <li>Early Childhood Developmental Screening and Assessment </li><li>Early Childhood Itinerant Model Coaching </li><li>Elementary - Literacy for Diverse Learners </li><li>Elementary - STEM for Diverse Learners </li></ul> <p>Fall or Spring Semesters</p> <ul> <li>Assessment and Data Driven Instruction </li><li>Understanding and Managing Behavior in Special Education </li><li>Partnering with Families in Special Education </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Responsibilities include constructing and maintaining course content, delivering lectures, grading in a timely manner, and establishing and maintaining communication with students, faculty, and administrators.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Required qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in related field </li><li>Evidence of relevant expertise </li><li>Teaching experience a special education setting </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Doctorate degree in related field </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salve Regina University strives to provide equal opportunity in employment and education to all employees, students and applicants.
