Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step if you're eager to find your next opportunity.</p> <p>The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.</p> <p>The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 3:00pm, or until the daily route is completed.</p> <p>Other than one regional route per week (gone 2 days, 1 night), this is a local/home daily position.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Safely operate a 53' truck or smaller </li><li>Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate </li><li>Properly track and document activity log </li><li>Report any issues or incidents to dispatch </li><li>Inspect the truck before and after trips </li><li>Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude </li></ul> <p>You have:</p> <ul> <li>A valid commercial driver's license </li><li>Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam </li><li>A good driving record </li><li>1 year of recent CDL A experience </li><li>1 year of route delivery experience </li><li>1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience </li><li>Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted) </li><li>Lift gate experience </li><li>Strong work ethic </li></ul>
