As an on site Commercial Property Maintenance Technician, you'll support 112,000 sq. ft. of offices, meeting venues, laboratories and collaborative spaces spread across a beautiful 50+ acre setting with trails, ponds and outdoor amenities. We offer competitive compensation, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of commercial properties, including but not limited to office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial facilities. </li><li>Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs. </li><li>Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and occupants. </li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, and implement appropriate solutions. </li><li>Conduct preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential problems before they escalate. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections. </li><li>Collaborate with property managers and other team members to prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks. </li><li>Coordinate and oversee the work of external contractors or service providers, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards. </li><li>Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in commercial property maintenance to enhance the overall quality of service. </li><li>Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills. </li></ul> <p>Education Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Required High School or Equivalent High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in building maintenance or a related field is preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Required Proven experience in commercial property maintenance, with a strong understanding of building systems and equipment. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of local and state building codes, regulations, and safety standards. </li><li>Proficient in performing maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, coworkers, and external contractors. </li><li>Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency in completing tasks. </li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively. </li><li>Flexibility to work on-call, weekends, and occasional overtime as required. </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Able to travel around site- climb stairs and/or ladders, walk site, lifting, and working on both heat and cold </li><li></li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.</p> <p>#TheHeritageGroup</p>
